We pride ourselves on our approach to teaching and learning, with small class sizes and an informal atmosphere ensuring that students are treated as individuals and build great relationships with staff.*OVERVIEW OF THE JOB*You will teach students key stage 5 Business and Accounting, supporting their learning to allow them to achieve the best possible outcomes. You will develop, deliver, and support the College’s academic programmes in line with College standards and policies. You will also act as a personal tutor to a small group of key stage 5 students.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOBSet high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge studentsPromote good progress and outcomes by studentsDemonstrate strong subject and curriculum knowledgePlan and teach well-structured lessons based on departmental schemes of workParticipate in arrangements for preparing students for external examinationsAdapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all studentsSet and mark homework promptly according to the College’s policyMake accurate and productive use of assessmentWrite high quality reports as required by the College’s policy on reporting to parentsManage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environmentDevelop and maintain classroom and other learning environmentsEnsure that College policies on student attendance are enforcedAct as personal tutor to a group of Key Stage 5 students*ABOUT CATS COLLEGES*In the context of international education, the name CATS is known and loved by generations of learners and is synonymous with excellence.
