Job Title: Behaviour Teaching Assistant
Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Salary: £70 – £90 per day*
Start Date: As soon as possible

We are seeking a Behaviour Teaching Assistant for a client school rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in Rotherham. This is a full-time position for an immediate start to support KS2 and KS3 pupils at a reputable PRU, for a consistent period of time, at least up to summer 2022.

About the School:
Consists of KS1 to KS4 pupil referral unit.
Includes a comprehensive training package, have stated that this has had a positive effect on their workload and well-being.
“Pupils’ behaviour throughout the school is good” – declared in their most recent OFSTED report.
The school currently has pupils in key stages 1 to 4 (5-16 years old), with pupils receiving excellent support and a bespoke timetable within a broad and balanced curriculum.
Pupils enjoy attending school and appreciate the support that they are given.
Pupils’ transition into further education, training or employment is a strength of the school.

Candidate Requirements:
A level 2 or 3 certificate in Education, Teaching and Learning or similar.
Experience supporting young people within an educational setting.
Comfortable working with pupils having SEMH and additional needs.
Be a confident behaviour manager.
Be able to work confidently on your own.
Excellent communication skills.
Be able to provide a full 10-year career history, with any gaps explained.
Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through ourselves. DBS sponsorship is available for this position.
