Job Description : We are looking for a Content Director to lead our creative team.
As our Content Director, you’ll oversee a team of Senior copywriters to deliver high quality content for our clients.
You’ll have strong leadership skills and be an expert in effective communication. You’ll proactively identify opportunities for their growth and development, troubleshoot any problems that arise and take responsibility for the long-term strategy.
Of course, you will be a highly skilled content professional with demonstrable writing and B2B marketing skills.
Responsibilities:
Support the creative team by identifying opportunities for growth, ensuring their career development and troubleshooting any problems that arise.
Working closely with the senior leadership team to contribute and influence the company’s long-term strategy and implement new initiatives.
Define and develop the strategy for the Creative Team and work with key stakeholders to deliver this strategy.
Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends and act as a thought leader in the space.
Support with new business and pitches by
Establish and promote best practice within the Creative Team
Be a leading force in seamlessly integrating copy and content design services.
Key skills and experience needed to be successful in this role:
Previous leadership experience with large creative teams
Empathetic leadership approach, leads by example, establishes trust and respect, and capable of performance managing teams
Self-motivation, a strong work ethic and enthusiastic when confronted with change
Excellent communication
A desire to achieve company aims/goals, reflect our values and satisfy client expectations
A positive, communicative personality with the ability to engage, motivate and support other
Keeps calm and collected working in a fast-paced (occasionally hectic) environment
Strategic thinker: business planning and goal setting
Experience building and executing impactful content strategies
A strong understanding of content funnels and user conversion journeys
An ability to consult and recommend the strategic direction of projects to our clients
Familiarity with technical SEO.
Salary: £40k to £50k
