Our team is responsible for Ticketing Open Systems and Payment Open Systems. These are all applications supporting the ticketing features and Payment features outside of PSS.
This Rec will add an Operations Engineers that is split working partly on Ticketing and partly on Payment.
Our team consists 4 Operations Engineers supporting a 24X5 shift schedule and a weekend on call rotation for ticketing every 4th weekend and for payment every 3rd weekend . We are currently working on migration of Tulsa apps to GCP(Google Cloud Platform), migrating of AWS apps to GCP, and supporting various TPF offload projects in addition to the operational work. We are looking for a team member to add to the Operations engineer teams on both payment and ticketing who will be focusing on ensuring the stability and reliability of the systems, automated delivery, releases, and working with us on incorporating best practices, high quality and ensuring overall great customer experience for Sabre customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitoring of alerts and taking action if needed updating incidents in PROD, CERT, INTImplementing changes as needed during your shiftWriting terraform scriptsCreating ci/cd pipelinesValidating connectivityCreating requests in support of projects:
o MQ intake forms
o Firewall requests
o Load balancer requests
o DNS requests
o Cloud ops requests
Release builds for the various apps and debugging issues, working with developers to resolve issues.
Job Requirements
NECESSARY SKILLS:
Analysis, debugging and troubleshooting skills, persistence in problem solvingGood collaboration within the team and with teams up and across the organizationUnderstanding of CI/CD conceptsFamiliarity of JenkinsUnderstanding of container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Linux/UNIX knowledge, shell scripting, networkingFamiliarity with monitoring and alerting toolsExperience with Change Management processVery good written and verbal English communication skillsWillingness to learn
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
Working experience with Cloud technologies (GCP preferred)Familiarity with Armada, Jenkins, Terraform, MavenUnderstanding of databases (relational, Oracle, Couchbase, Datastore)Java development experienceExperience with Sabre Change Management process, Service Now, runbooksGoogle SRE knowledgeExperience with Change Management process, SNOW, runbooks,
