Job Description : Role
As a Developer Associate within SME Organization you will be dealing with the full development cycle, from discussing requirements with our (internal) customers to detailed design and implementation, bug fixing and troubleshooting. In your role as Developer Associate you will work closely with colleagues globally with the following activities
Work in a SCRUM team with a focus on SME Applications Products in Cloud technologies and ABAP Stack
Contribute to Application Platform and Foundation topics like Authorization & Security, Integration framework, Business Transaction Management, Workflows, Output Management, Parallel Processing, Organization Management, etc.
Explore open source and use latest SAP Technology stack (Business Technology Platform) to build Cloud Solutions at a fast pace
Contribute towards feature roadmap for the topics following SCRUM and Agile
Transform detailed designs into implementation.
Have excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Flexible to handle both new development and maintain existing code base
Flexible to work on multiple programming paradigms as per the team’s profile
Bring in high energy to work constructively, do self-planning, collaborate within team and interface across engineering teams
Have the zeal to implement solutions which help in improving performance and reducing costs
Role Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
Experience in full-stack development with knowledge of Open Source Development,
Good knowledge of Type Script or Java Script, Node JS. Knowledge of ABAP preferred. Java is added advantage.
Knowledge of SAP Technology BTP, CDS, CAP, FIORI Elements preferred.
Knowledge of Any Relational Database (having HANA knowledge will be an added advantage)
Experience in working using SCRUM and Agile Development practices
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an agile team
Strong Knowledge of Object-Oriented Concepts, Design Patterns
Understanding of Cloud Delivery and Mindset including Native Cloud, Micro-Services, GIT Repository, CI/CD, Performance and Memory management, Kafka, Kubernetes, Micro-Services, Business Technology Platform, Docket, ISTIO, ESOA.
