LTA / Reed Education are seeking a Nursery/ Reception Teacher to support an Ofsted ‘Good’ school in the Preston area. This role is a full time position covering 5 days per week to cover a maternity leave. The role is a temporary position, starting from Tuesday 19th of April 2022 and is on an ongoing basis for the duration of the leave. The school aims to excite, encourage and inspire children’s love of learning through real purposeful experiences.
The school are looking for a Nursery/reception teacher to start from Easter.
The right candidate will support a class of 30 children, of who 8 are nursery children and 22 are reception-aged children.
Qualified Teacher Status and previous experience/strong knowledge of teaching EYFS is essential for this position.
Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:
Preparing, planning, and delivering high standards of lessons to ensure the continuous development of our pupils
Mark and monitor classwork, alongside setting targets for future progress
Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers
Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils
Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school’s practice
Excellent behaviour management skills
