We have also delivered award-winning sound performance with Philips TV in their range of OLED+ televisions.*Main purpose of the Job: *Sound United is seeking a Financial Controller to support our premier Bowers & Wilkins UK manufacturing site in Worthing, West Sussex. The plant manufacturers Bowers & Wilkins 800 Series Diamond and Nautilus loudspeakers.The Financial Controller will be responsible for the processing and preparation of timely monthly accounts within both SAP and the Global Consolidation system OneStream. This is a highly visible role and is a valued member of the global finance organization at Sound United.Key Responsibilities: Manage all accounting operations including A/P, GL and Inventory Accounting and Revenue RecognitionCoordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances including management and discussion of 70 cost centers with their respective owners.Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statementsResearch technical accounting issues for complianceFull responsibility for month-end and year-end close processEnsure quality control over financial transactions and financial reportingDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsAdditional controller duties as necessaryAreas of accountability:Spend Analysis and ControlActuals, Forecasts, and Annual BudgetInventory, Fixed Assets and Working CapitalLegal Compliance and Internal ControlsRequired Skill Sets:Proven working experience as a Financial ControllerExtensive SAP experienceExperience of working within global environmentsExperience with managing a team5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experienceThorough knowledge of accounting principles and proceduresExperience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close processExcellent accounting software user and administration skillsAbout Sound UnitedWith centuries of collective experience, Sound United oversees the design and manufacture of a diverse array of premium audio products, including loudspeakers, sound bars, AV receivers, wireless speakers, amplifiers, turntables, and headphones.
