We serve over 25 thousand users, providing a convenient way for them to manage their bookkeeping and accounting online, without expert knowledge.Who are we looking for?We are looking for an experienced full-stack engineer to work alongside the founders to develop our offering and explore new markets. We are a 100% remote team and welcome applicants seeking remote working opportunities.Technical requirements: Software stack: .NET, C#, Web API, MVC 5.2, SQL Server, jQuery, Azure PaaS.Toolset: Visual Studio, SSMS, DevOps, AzureGeneral requirements: Experience working on cloud applications, data engineering and RESTful APIsExperience with Azure / AWS or similar cloud environmentAbility to work concurrently on multiple projects and prioritise workloadsGood understanding of SQL Server and SQL performance tuningAbility to make good architectural decisions following well established design patternsStrong communication skills in EnglishNice to have: Good understanding of general business processes in relation to accounting and bookkeepingGood knowledge of scaling challenges and mitigating performance bottlenecksAbility to maintain and deploy code to staging and production environmentsRequirementsMinimum of 5 years relevant experience in a similar role.LocationSatellite office: Fulford, YorkHead office: Kensington, LondonJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £52,000.00 per yearBenefits:Casual dressCompany eventsOn-site parkingWork from homeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:Online only, no face to face contact with customers.Education:Bachelor’s (preferred)Experience:Web development: 5 years (preferred)
