Team Overview
The position in discussion is with Capability Hubs (CH) team at KPMG Global Services (KGS) and we are looking for a solutions-oriented communications expert who has the ability to work with leadership teams to craft and execute effective communications strategies
We would strongly prefer someone who has worked in Professional Services or Consulting firms – and understands that within a captive, the work that we do in Marketing / Communications is not on the scale of external marketing, but offers a competitive, learning environment, with opportunities to grow and expand with the organization, or within the KPMG network.
Profile
8-10 years of high-quality experience in Internal communication, corporate communications and Branding
Degree in Mass communication, Journalism or English Honors is preferred
Experience in Professional Services or Consulting Services space is an added advantage
Must have a strong strategic bent and be able to develop communication and marketing strategies and plans
Must have strong executive presence and excellent collaboration skills to be able to work in a complex and matrixed environment
Primarily will drive development of internal communication campaigns, with limited external campaigns. there must have excellent experience in driving internal communication campaigns, CSR, I&D campaigns etc.
Good understanding of business requirements, driving value and managing budgets
Innovative and out of the box thinker, develop high quality campaigns while largely leveraging internal creative teams
Experience in working with senior leadership, ability to articulate point of view and convince stakeholders
Good understanding of 360-degree communication, experience in B2B marketing is a must
Good understanding of digital communication, interactive media and social media platforms while having strong fundamentals in traditional media as well experience in driving corporate events
Be a change agent
Excellent project management and communication skills
Excellent writing skills, be an effective storyteller across formats
Role and responsibilities
Lead the Communications charter for Capability Hubs (a business within KGS)
Work with the leadership team to understand communication requirements and develop strategy and campaigns accordingly
Support the businesses communication and marketing needs (internal and external)
Build effective leadership communications
Build and drive employer branding campaigns and effective employee engagement and internal campaigns
Create effective go-to-market material for businesses across tactics and media
Build the social media presence for the business’s basis the guidelines of the firms
Plan and drive corporate busines- wide events
Provide communications support for various teams HR, operations, I&D, engagement etc.
Liaison with external agencies to build out creative content as well as work effectively with internal creative teams
Have the ability to drive creatives and creative campaigns
Be a custodian of the KPMG brand
