Job Description : We are currently recruiting a full time nursery nurse to work in our main room 2-5 years. The job is full time all year round working 4.5 days a week, with Friday afternoons off.We are a small nursery located in Bulwick, just a short drive from Corby, Stamford and Oundle. Our setting is unique in its practices and focuses on children’s self esteem and confidence as a starting point for early years education. We are passionate about every aspect of Early Years Education and believe all nursery staff are professionals and offer in house and external training up to MA Levels to reflect this.We value a work life balance for all staff and offer a long Christmas Break and week shut down in Spring and Summer for all staff. As a family ran nursery we have a lovely small community feel throughout the provision.We follow a planning in the moment approach and really value outdoor learning, engaging in forest school activities throughout the week. We like taking our children out of the ‘class room’ and strongly believe practical hands on learning is the best approach.Responsibilities and DutiesThe right candidate will be enthusiastic about early years education and enjoy looking at new approaches and observational methods. You will be a key worker and play a part in full team observations and moving children on in their interests.You will need to be a team player and work effectively with other staff to maintain the Outstanding qualities of the nursery.You will need to be aware of safeguarding and under go regular training to ensure children are always kept safe from harm.You will need to be confident to communicate to parents on a daily basis and feed back in detail about their children’s day, learning and progress.Qualifications and SkillsWe would invite candidates from a Level 2 and above to apply for this role. We also welcome any unqualified candidates interested in training towards a qualification to get in touch to find out more about our apprenticeships and adult learner opportunities.Previous experience is essential due to the key worker responsibilities, however, we do also provide a really thorough in house training induction and support.Any candidates who would like to further their qualifications up to degree level and beyond are welcome to apply.First Aid and Health and Hygiene are essential, however, we will be able to offer both of these in house if necessary.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed termSalary: £19,000.00-£23,294.00 per yearSchedule:Day shiftMonday to Friday
