Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Data Consultant you will be at the forefront of this ride and get to work with a high performing team. You will be the face of GTS & evangelize the data solutions that we have to offer. You will create compelling value proposition and targeted content to significantly improve our chances of winning in the marketplace. You will be playing a critical role in identify, build, and nurture the vendor partnerships in data and analytics domain. You will defend Kyndryl solutions and build trust with the client at all levels -operational to executive. You will help drive, qualify & close opportunities. You will be responsible for the execution and successful delivery of “Advisory/Consulting” assignments. You will, with support, from larger team help in delivery of non-consulting assignments from time to time.

Responsibilities:
Help build a thriving practice that’s constantly looking for ways to solve client’s challenges by using data solutions.
Engage with internal & external customers to position, pitch, defend and build trust in the data solutions & services we have to offer
Build and nurture alliance/partnerships with potential vendors
Craft both high-level and detailed design documents and assist in implementation of innovative solutions using the most relevant technologies
Build consulting assets, collaterals, and methods
Build GTM content and collaterals
Develop use case(s) storylines and high-level reference architecture(s)
Take a leadership role on projects demonstrating experience handling projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes running multi-phase/multi-dimensional/multi-resource projects to conclusion while maintaining high customer satisfaction
Continually learn and grow professionally
Mentor other consultants to share your knowledge and experience
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
10+ years of solution experience5+ years of experience focused on digital workplace solutionsEnvironment:
Business unit, country, or international professional mastery related to operations, strategies, and objectives in leading edge or critical situations.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Total of around 15+ years of experience within the Data space – Datalake, Datawarehousing, ETL, Big Data Engineering, Cloud Based Data Ecosystem
Deep technical or architectural knowledge in the following areas preferred: Database development (SQL, NoSQL, NewSQL) – designing and building database solutions (schemas/views/tables / stored procedures s / queries / etc.)
Deep understanding of data structure / data models to design, develop, and delivery various Data based use cases
Advanced data solutions – deep understanding & knowledge on designing and building data solutions using technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Cloudera, Data ISV’s like Privacera, Alation etc
Deep understanding & knowledge on Big Data ecosystem implementation using Open Source and Non-SQL technologies such as Databricks, Spark, Spark Streaming, Kafka, Storm, Zeppelin, Scala Software development, Hadoop Hive, Hadoop Map Reduce, Hadoop Clusters & other solutions
Understanding of various domain & functional usecases driven by data & having a strong PoV around data foundation layer/ecosystem needed to power the same
Alliance/partnerships
Cloud native Data Ecosystem – deep understanding & knowledge on designing and building data solutions using cloud PaaS & Cloud Native technologies
Data Operations
Self-starter who can think outside of the box, and come up with a solution to resolve and mitigate complex problems
Experience in developing maturity models, TCO & ROI models, AS-IS : TO-BE blueprints, technology analysis, Roadmap design, Implementation plan
Ability to communicate with a variety of different audiences and strong presentation skills
Ability to lead and motivate technical communities
Ability to effectively recognize and adapt to change
Ability to quickly grasp customers’ business challenges and drive positive change
