This is a Product Release Manager role, reporting to the Digital Platform Operations Manager in business area Process Automation located in Bangalore. Your responsibilities
Drive the planning activities of multiple software release windows across the product portfolio.
Ensure on-time and on-budget release by monitoring and measuring the progress on a continuous basis.
Coordinate release activities across geographically diverse teams to communicate the release risks, roadblocks, and statuses periodically to all the stakeholders.
Keep the team notified of the progress, risks, scope changes, Engineering, Quality Engineering, Documentation, Marketing & Communication plans.
Conduct release gate review meetings to drive business decisions around go/no-go.
Manage risks by working with various teams and resolve issues that affect the release schedule, quality, and scope.
Drive the go-live activities by working will all pillars of the organization.
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
8-10 years of proven track record of leading release management activities across diverse global teams.
Should have solid grounding in enterprise software development lifecycle.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate release activities across globally disperse, cross-functional software product development teams.
Proficient in using and tracking release schedules using Microsoft Project.
Formal training/certification in project management is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must.
Should be familiar with Azure DevOps, Analytics tools, and presentation tools.
