THE ROLE
The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse to work in our Day Oncology and Infusion Centre on a permanent part-time basis. You will work as part of a dedicated and highly skilled team providing infusions and support to ambulatory care day patients across multiple specialities including oncology, haematology, neurology, gastroenterology and nephrology. Previous experience in a Chemotherapy and/or Infusion Centre setting is desirable for this role.

To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate the below requirement in your CV and a 1-2 page cover letter:
Essential :
Current Registration with AHPRA
Experience and competency in administration of blood products and basic intravenous infusions
Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills including the ability to establish sound relationships with peers and clients using a customer service focus
Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and initiative
Proven ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated commitment to own professional development
An understanding of medical terminology
Desirable :
Proficiency in cannulation & port-a-cath management
Sound knowledge of anti-cancer agents (chemotherapy, immunotherapy etc) and their safe administration
Knowledge of inflammatory bowel diseases and/or neurological conditions requiring infusional management
Previous experience in a chemotherapy and infusion centre setting
Role specific conditions
Valid Working with Children Check for NSW
Immunisation screening and vaccination check including COVID-19
