The Role

We are looking for highly talented and dedicated Software Engineers/Programmers who thrive in fast paced, ever changing development environments. We are looking for an experienced server software engineer for developing services to support the live operations and online gameplay for our titles. You will be working in small teams that work closely together to create solutions for game requirements using modern technologies and frameworks deployed to cloud based infrastructure. You will also be working with many existing systems; some developed at iToys, some developed externally.

Here’s how your day would look like:
Propose and implement major client rendering pipeline changes to meet visual quality and performance targets

Prototype, refine and optimize mobile rendering pipeline that includes: real-time/static lighting, shadows, post processing, physically based shading

Improve, debug, and extend existing graphics pipelines while also building net technology that scales across a range of mobile devices

Create robust, cross-platform rendering feature implementations for both iOS and Android

Design, implement, measure, and analyze algorithms for rendering and visual effects

Keep up to date of latest developments in mobile hardware & software via developer support, conferences, and publications

Mentor other engineers

Create clean APIs for internal graphics tools and editors

Who fits the bill:
Strong C/C++ skills

Understanding of various GPU architectures

Solid foundation in 3D math, algorithms, and modern computing fundamentals

Comfort with handling large code bases

Ability to define deliverables and collaborate on production scheduling

Worked on rendering pipeline/features for shipped mobile or console games

Understanding of at least one of the following shading languages HLSL, GLSL, SPIR-V, Metal Shading Language

Excellent spoken and written communication

Strong understanding of a healthy real time rendering pipeline

Creativity in adapting contemporary and next-generation rendering techniques to an existing product

Experience with planning code architecture and providing technical leadership for complex system implementations

Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with UE4

Passion for making games

Experience with OpenGL ES 3+

Experience with modern rendering APIs like Vulkan or Metal

Experience with GPU profiling tools like ARM Mali Graphics Debugger or Apple Instruments

Shipped multiple real-time product
