Job Description
What you get to do in this role:Manage lifecycle of production/sub-production environments – necessary configurations, code promotion and integrations, application admin activities (operational, migrations, and upgrades)Incident/defect management – identify application / system issues and possible solutions in a timely and accurate mannerTroubleshooting performance issues and working toward optimizing the system further.Automation is priority for our team – always looking for opportunity to automate the monotonous and tedious work.Documentation – Maintain system documents for configuration and troubleshooting of known issuesCollaboration – Work closely with other teams to support delivery of related tasks successfullyExcellency – Come-up with best practices for Admin operations and enhancements based on lessons learntOff Hours Support – during business critical, go-live and escalation/outage issue
Qualifications
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field2+ years of information technology industry experience, with experience working on the ServiceNow platform and technologies preferred.Must have good knowledge of JavaScript libraries, add advantage if work on Java, MySQL, LINUX & SplunkGood understanding and work experience in Web services, SOAP, email, etc.Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersConfident and able to multi-task and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment with competing prioritiesGood Understanding of ITIL v3 processes. ITIL Foundation & ServiceNow Administration certification good to have

Work personas are categories that are assigned to employees depending on the nature of their work. Employees will fall into one of three categories: Remote, Flexible or Required in Office.
Required in Office
A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.
Flexible
A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
Remote
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
