Job Description : The role:
You will be leading a high performing team of software engineers, mentoring & guiding junior talent, building a variety of cutting edge, cloud native, business-critical projects at the forefront of application development. You will be working with a larger global team to help architect, develop and re-engineer applications to fully leverage architecture blueprints and security standards. You will be partnering with business and technology stakeholders to deliver products that go beyond customer expectations.

Work on architecture & design for modernizing and transforming our client facing platform into a cloud first solution.
Build reusable code and libraries for future use with excellent documentation
Optimize our services to scale from the outset with telemetry
Strive for continuous improvement through active participation in team, J.P. Morgan community and site-wide activities

Skills required:

Strong development background in Java, Spring Boot, RDBMS (Oracle/PLSQL), RESTful APIs, Kafka
Experience with SDLC, CI/CD toolsets, Automation, standard IDEs
Experience with Big Data & related Technologies (Hadoop, HBASE, Spark)
Experience with Agile, Test driven development
In-depth knowledge of various software architecture solution patterns
Self-learner focused on quality and delivery
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
Candidate must have team management and stakeholder management experience in a diverse organization
A strong team player with excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills
Self-Driven, proactive and Very strong passion for technology with a strong interest in the latest development best practices and frameworks.
Have an agile mindset and a broad skillset – willing to do whatever it take to help the team deliver.
Minimum 10 years of experience

Desirable skills:
AWS experience
Cloud computing and micro services experience
Knowledge of various financial instruments
