Job Description : Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a Web Developer who will be responsible for the design, management and upgrades of the college website, online student application and enrolment platforms as well as any other internal software applications. They will also be responsible for the technical management and data integration of any 3rd party systems including Virtual Learning Platforms and Electronic Independent Learning Plans.The successful candidate will require a degree in computer science or programming related subject or working towards, Safeguarding Level 1 (to be achieved within 6 weeks), Level 2 in Literacy (or willing to work towards within 2 years), Level 2 in Numeracy (or willing to work towards within 2 years).Applicants will have at least 1 year’s relevant professional experience of software development and experience of using relevant technologies for example: C#, LINQ, Entity Framework, SQL, ASP.NET Core, MVC, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, Visual Studio.It is also desirable that the candidate will have experience of software development in an education setting, and an understanding of Office 365, Azure AD and Management Information Systems.This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity.For further details and an application form please visit our website at https://bacoll.ac.uk/VacanciesJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £25,130.57 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingSick paySchedule:Monday to FridayApplication deadline: 04/03/2022Reference ID: RS21/22/237
