Job summary
Prime Video is changing the way people watch movies and TV shows, with over 1 Million titles available on-demand to Kindle, Fire, mobile devices, game consoles, Internet-connected TVs, Blu-ray players and set-top-boxes. The Prime Video Content Services organization aims to be the world’s most customer-centric, agile, secure, and innovative content distribution service. Responsible for managing and improving the content supply chain from our Studio Partners such as Warner Brothers, Sony, Disney, ErosNow, Docubay, MUBI, hoichoi, ManoramaMAX, and ShortsTV, and of course, Amazon Studios, the organization owns content delivery, ingestion, assembly, and publishing from all global studios to customers in 240+ territories. This Sr. Manager role will manage a team responsible for managing India, Middle East, and North African based Studio Partners launching content globally across TVOD, SVOD, Channels, and on Amazon.in’s quickly growing miniTV business.
In addition to owning the content operations functions, you will work closely with partner operations teams in Europe, North American and Japan, cross-functional counterparts in engineering, content acquisition, program management, finance, and executive teams to ensure the operations team and systems are supporting the broader growth, launching new features, developing and growing business opportunities, and enhancing our customer experience.
A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, business and technology oriented, and will have an ability to deliver results through the team and stakeholder teams under time constraints to meet deadlines. He or she will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
Key job responsibilities
Be directly responsible for the operational relationships and performance of Prime Video content providers
Lead, develop, and manage a team of digital supply chain managers,
Establish goals, plans and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to achieve digital supply chain objectives
Work cross functionally with the major studio executives, content acquisition, program/product management, engineering, marketing and finance teams to deliver an unparalleled customer experience
Develop a deep understanding of Prime Video’s content spec and partner performance metrics, defining and raising the bar on what a good content experience looks like.
Work cross functionally with operations and business teams to define, drive and optimize the quality, speed and partner experience of our onboarding processes.
Work with product management and engineering to automate and systematize this program into self-service technology and features.

As a Senior Manager in this organization, you will lead strategic initiatives that impact the customer experience globally.
MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred
Ability to work effectively, navigate change management and ambiguity.
Experience managing a team directly, and influencing teams globally.
Experience and understanding of digital media and/or digital video supply chain
Passionate about understanding customers and their behavior in order to drive new feature development
Preferred work experience in a fast paced online environment ·
Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
Experience managing, getting things done, and communicating relevant results to senior management
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing/business counterparts to deliver online products/services.
