2 x Teaching Assistant Level 2 (may include some SEN responsibility working 1:1 which will be rewarded with appropriate SEN allowance)
Vacancy for: 2 x TA2
Scale points – Grade D Points 6 -11 (£19,171 – 21,166 – Pro Rata)
Appointment type: 12 months fixed term contract
Hours: Monday-Friday 8.45am-3.45pm (Term time plus 5 Inset days)
Part of this post may involve supporting pupils in school with a high level of need so experience of working with SEND pupils is desirable. If applicable, SEN Allowance will be applied.
The governors of our popular two-form entry school are seeking to appoint two Teaching Assistants Level 2. The governors would be happy to receive applications from those who are keen to work at our happy, caring school and support our strong Catholic ethos.
We are looking to appoint someone who:
Has NVQ 2 or equivalent in Teaching Assistant or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
Has experience of working with children, preferably in a classroom setting
Is able to provide support for a range of teaching and learning activities
Has good basic skills in Mathematics and English – GCSE or equivalent
Is able to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues and outside professionals
Is able to carry out administrative tasks to a high standard
Is prepared to contribute to all aspects of school life
Is able to work as part of a team
Closing Date for Applications: Monday 14th March 2022 at 12.00pm.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited into school to complete a short task with children, a basic skills test and an interview.
