Education: BE (EE/EC/Instrumentation)
Required Skills:
Experienced technical person with good knowledge of domain, system, process , Schneider Electric products.
Ability to guide the teams in terms of implementing and improving testing strategy, test architectures as well as guiding the team members in ramping up to a project.
Configuring and programming PLC, Variable Speed Drives, HMI, SCADA
Integration of industrial automation products using communication protocol like Modbus, Ethernet/IP, CANopen, Profibus, Profinet
Excellent hands-on knowledge on Schneider Electric PLC , Drives, Motor Started (M580, M340, Quantum, M251,M241, ATV, TesyS) and Drives (ATVwith relevant software like
Excellent hands-on knowledge on Schneider Electric software like Unity Pro/Control, SoMachine, SoMove, Unity Loader
Knowledge on FDT-DTM Technology
Hands on experience in plant control system configuring, commissioning, trouble shooting
Testing of Desktop Applications for Industrial Automation (Functional, Installation, Licensing etc.)
Advantage if knowledge on Agile , PMP, Software Development Life Cycle
Advantage if knowledge on Test Management tools like TFS / DevOps
Good to have:
Following skills will be treated as added advantage
Knowledge in C# or Java Script and Test Automation
Cyber Security – Pen Testing
Responsibilities:
Identifying and creating test environment / architecture as per requirement
Device integration (PLC, VFD, etc.)
Create Test Plan and test strategy
Analyze/anticipate test scenarios , challenges
Verification of Desktop Applications for Industrial Automation
Executing manual tests
Report Generation – Test execution status, defect analysis, project status, etc.
Work on Test Automation Framework and develop scripts for automated tests
Provide proactive advice and feedback throughout the software testing lifecycle for prevention and early correction of quality problem.
Domain: Water & Waste Water, Mining, Metal & Minerals, Cement, Steel, Oil& Gas, Chemical.
Technology: Industrial Automation , FDT, DTM
Testing: Manual testing, Test Automation, Knowledge on Test management system like TFS
Process : Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, PMP, V model
