Job Description : The Junos Manageability test team is responsible for validating and maintaining quality releases for Junos Operating System Infrastructure which enables customers to easily deploy and manage Juniper devices. The test team is responsible for the active engagement with development team during the design and implementation phase and contribute to various test phases in the product life cycle on test plan preparation, execution and automation and work towards maintaining the product quality and support during customer interactions and supports the solution requirements for all the Market segments (Service Providers, Data Centers, Enterprise etc.).
The Role
Position: Software Engineer – Manageability Test team
We are looking for creative engineers who enjoy being challenged by problems of scale and complexity. As member of the team, you will be working on the systems architecture, systems software, and will get to design and implement test plan and automation scripts for On-Device Management of Juniper products. As a member of the team you will participate all phases of software test cycles, including reviewing the design specification, implementation, testing and sustaining. Additionally, you will interact with and influence other engineering groups, as well as the Sales and Support organizations.
What you must have?
Strong hands on experience in programming. ( experience with Python / Perl /Robot Framework/Selenium).
Preferred if Knowledge on Ansible , Selenium and SQL / MongoDB.
XML, JSON, yaml and their transformation.
Strong knowledge on CI/CD process and knowledge Git / Bitbucket.
Strong Knowledge on Data / Keyword / Hybrid Driven Automation Frameworks.
Proficiency in SDLC / STLC / scrum based methodologies.
Strong knowledge on the fundamentals of networking.
What we expect from you?
Should be able to provide solutions for test script design.
Fundamentals In data structures, algorithm, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Ability to create / enhance test harness and infrastructure
Ability to understand any Automation framework(s) and develop strong coding design principles.
Excellent team player and interpersonal skills.
Drive technical discussions and working closely with dev/test engineers for the resolution of problems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
