About You:
You are the kind of engineering manager who likes developing systems products, end to end. You enjoy the challenge of difficult, broad, and technically deep tasks in distributed computing. You love working collaboratively with your team, and equally love owning and driving your own tasks and projects.
12+ years of experience crafting and developing highly scalable, distributed applications, systems, products, and services & managing team.
Professional proficiency in Go and/or Java
Strong understanding of Kubernetes and clustering
Have worked extensively on cloud & SaaS products
Evaluating and using new technologies in product architecture.
Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, concurrent programming.
Significant design and Architecture experience (Systems Software is a plus).
A big advocate for writing unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits. It is a huge plus and success recipe if you have:
An innovative mindset, keep track of market and competitors and have a proven track record of driving innovation in the team
Have built products from the ground up and are able to communicate in greater detail
Experience bringing a product to the market in the data or monitoring spaces About the Role:
AppDynamics’s cloud and infra monitoring team provide monitoring solutions for cloud (public) and cluster environments. The team constantly targets new technologies/frameworks to include in our product portfolio.
You will develop products to monitor cloud and Kubernetes cluster environments. The end result will be productized into the AppDynamics AIOps platform. The product will need to have the ability to discover monitored technology/framework, pull investigative metrics in real-time, and feed into the existing AppDynamics infrastructure. #appd_jobs
