Job Description : An exciting and newly created Category Lead (Subscription Services) job opportunity has just become available at a leading consumer electronics company. Based in Singapore, the successful candidate will lead multiple subscriptions and ‘as-a-service’ business model pilots for region. You will also have an opportunity to work with our digital/IoT product leaders to shape new services, ecosystem for our consumers.
About the Category Lead (Subscription Services) Role:

In this newly created job function, the Category Lead shall develop and drive structure, process, business opportunity for recurring payments , pay-per-use and leasing models.

Key Responsibilities:
Run pilots in multiple APAC markets to test as-a-service and subscription business models
Build a long-term strategy for growth and scale for this category in the region
Lead business development conversations
Define and measure CLTV, attachment rate, churn rate and other indicators relevant for the business
Identify and select the most promising venture opportunities in selected value spaces
Develop and document knowledge assets in different value spaces on market trends and opportunities
Work closely with insights and local country teams to identify potential business opportunities
Commercial launch/execution of digital products in APAC MEA region
Build digital prototypes, MVPs and beta features together with the IoT team
Manage the Beta community of the app
Support ownership solution projects like Link/QR

To succeed in this Category Lead (Subscription services) role, you will need to work with urgency, analysing and adapting to different situations, quickly understanding changes and reacting confidently and decisively.
Key Requirements:

A university degree
Creative and an open mind to propose out-of-the-box ideas
Five or more years of experience leading or building digital ecosystems
Prior experience in working for a subscription model business
Enjoys working in a startup environment
