Job Title : Chapter Leader – Common Platform Solutions, Asset Management
The Purpose of Your Role
As a “Chapter Leader” in Architecture Technology Foundation – Common Platform Solutions (CPS) Product Line you will play a critical role to aid/enable Asset Management business applications with the best developer experience by providing proven and ready-to-use technical solutions thus increasing stability, time to market and de-duplication of IT Functions.
You bring to this role outstanding leadership and collaboration skills, strong coaching skills, and the clear ability to leverage your expertise in partnering with other leaders to inform how the work is accomplished. You will lead a team of chapter members and be responsible for the continuous development of their expertise and support their career development. You are responsible for working with your chapter area leader to establish the standards, guardrails, best practices, and strategic direction of your chapter and for enabling Squads and teams to deliver business results and customer value as measured by your specific KPIs. You will partner with product area, squad, and team leaders to define the business strategy and work and align the right talent to drive the desired business results and customer outcomes. With CPS being a technology organization, it is critical you bring a good blend of technical, process and associate development knowledge to be successful.

Technical/Behavioral
Strong hands on experience in Managing Engineering projects.
Strong understanding of Engineering Practices like Code Review, Branching Patterns, etc.
Global Stakeholder management and Strong Communication skills
Passionate to mentor, coach and develop associates
Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environment.
Passion and intellectually curious to learn new technologies and business areas.
Strategies to drive Influence without Authority as needed.
Strong understanding of:
App Development using Java related technologies
Solutioning experience in AWS Cloud
Experience working in a DevOps and CI/CD environment
As a Chapter Leader
3+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing people and teams.
5+ years of experience leading complex technology initiatives, architecting the best engineering solutions, and being in the trenches with the software engineers every day.
4+ years’ experience working in agile development environment.
Strong leadership skills: provide tech assistance when the team needs it, empowerment of individuals/team, innovation, collaboration and must be someone who’s eager to learn and teach every day.
Proven in data-driven approach to decision-making, both in day-to-day management and in making strategic trade-offs.

AM Tech is an integral partner in setting Asset Management’s strategic direction and has shared accountability for achieving Asset Management goals. AM Tech is global organization of technologists based in the United States, London, India and Ireland. Supporting multiple business function in Investment Management and Advisory domain like Portfolio Management, Research & Trading.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing people and teams.
5+ years of experience leading complex technology initiatives, architecting the best engineering solutions, and being in the trenches with the software engineers every day.
12+ years of IT experience
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related field
AWS Certified Architect/Developer Associate Certification
Location: Bangalore – Manyata
Shift timings: 11:00 am – 8:00 pm
