You’ll be a writer for TechGenyz, focusing on tech: mobile, gaming, apps, new consumer tech product launch, product reviews, tracking the app release, and more.At TechGenyz, tech is the heart of our publication, and we cover the hot tech news in the industry those are shaping our day-to-day life. We’re looking for an experienced, creative reporter who’s excited to explore the tech world for our readers, covering everything from mobile launches to new games, from new features of an app to social media trends.And while our readers love future tech innovations, cool tech, and ambitious space missions—and you should too—we want you to explore the various tech topics that are helping human life.You will always have an eye while writing which should touch the human heart—how these stories affect the people, what the takeaway is for our readers, and how you inform and engage them. TechGenyz covers news and information on the latest technology, gaming, AR, VR, start-up, digital innovation, and more that influence people worldwide.What you’ll doBe the Tech Writer for TechGenyz.Plan story concepts and perform independent research in the development of stories.Research, pitch, develop, and write—research news sources in social media, forums, develop the story, and cover news. Typically five to eight stories per day.Break the news from social media, forums, Reddit, or other feeds and cover the story in our CMS.Evaluate all news for authenticity and check with sources to ensure the correctness of the published article.Write fresh news articles, come up with new story ideas and generate headline ideas in alignment with targeted audience preference.Proofreads all copies and makes corrections necessary before publication; organizes and indexes all articles.Write impressive headlines that capture the essence of the storyConduct interviews with industry veterans, experts, creators, and entrepreneurs.Develop and maintain a network of contacts who can provide information about our stories.Your Knowledge & SkillsA bachelor’s degree; at least 2 years of experience in writing and editing.2+ years of experience covering news in a tech media domain is a MUST.Demonstrable experience in producing unique and original content.Native-level English.Excellent research, writing, editing, and time management skills.Should have a deep understanding of consumer technology and future tech areas.High editorial standards for quality and integrity.Working ConditionsWork from anywhere or join our Kolkata office.Our offerAn inspiring and friendly colleagues from TechGenyzFlexible working hours, casual work environmentHybrid WFH ModelLunch, snacks, and great coffee at the office (when we’re back)Monthly lunch with colleagues (when we’re back)Job Types: Part-time, FreelanceContract length: 6 monthsSalary: ₹9,148.00 – ₹21,007.00 per monthSchedule:Day shiftEvening shiftExperience:total work: 3 years (Required)Application Deadline: 12/03/2022
