Roles and Responsibilities
Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure
Develop and maintain software applications in cloud and on-premise environments for Internet of Things (IoT), Asset Performance Management and Data Analytics applications
Maintain DevOps pipeline for software development and deployment
Apply Data Analytics tools and techniques to analyze field data
Work with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & vision
Translate requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards
Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge
Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen
Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness
Basic Qualifications – Education
Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Eligibility Requirements
Minimum of 10 years’ experience with proven track record of developing software solutions
Minimum of 3 years experience in building cloud-based applications on AWS and Azure platforms, preferably AWS
Minimum of 5 years experience in developing web applications using microservices, containers
Experience in building REST API’s with Flask
High proficiency in Python
Databases: Hands-on experience in RDBMS and NOSQL databases
Experience in using DevOps pipeline tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Jira and cybersecurity tools like Coverity, Qualys, Checkmarx
Experience in developing software using Agile methodologies
Exposure to Data Analytics tools and techniques
Experience in working on Windows and Linux Operating systems
Knowledge in working with protocols like MQTT, SFTP, HTTPS, OPC UA etc.
