What Will I Be Doing?

As a Senior Managing Consultant, ideally based in Sydney you will support IBM’s consistent growth by bringing your finance transformation, business development, account management, and delivery skills.

You will be working with a highly motivated, highly successful team with a proven sales record in IBM’s top accounts.

What Will Be My Role and Responsibilities

Work with client CFOs and senior management in predominantly the ANZ region – accelerating IBM’s finance consulting practice in Financial services and Insurance client, having expertise in advising and delivering projects on Finance transformation, process improvements, financial planning redesign, service delivery model design; implementing and embedding improvements and delivering sustainable value to clients transforming finance functions

Use appropriate consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques to understand client needs, requirements, provide recommendations, advice, and guidance in end-to-end Finance Target Operating Model Transformation. Develop recommendations, build business case, and value propositions. Presentation of proposals to potential clients.

You will have experience in the transformation of finance function of Financial Services/ Insurance organisations. Your key skills include having an understanding of Agile and Design thinking methodology, business case and data analysis, leading cross functional teams.

Experience and understanding of FP&A, core finance processes, R2R processes, process improvement, reporting and regulatory requirements and compliance, spend management, pricing and commercial models. Expertise in transfer pricing and acquisition integration may be an added advantage.

With knowledge of Business Process Re-engineering, robotic Process automation solutions and blueprint for outsourcing or ERP. Exposure in process areas R2R, L2C and P2P.

Lead and deliver client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions transforming client finance organizations.

What Will Be Some of My Additional Responsibilities and/or Skill
Sets include?
Relevant work experience as a Senior Consultant / Manager in Finance transformation for clients in Financial services or Insurance role in advisory capacity in Big 4 or global Services providersPrevious role in finance organisations or consulting for Financial services or Insurance, advising on Finance transformation, process improvements, financial planning redesign, service delivery model design etc..
Experience developing a vision for client finance organization, delivering transformation programs encompassing finance process redesign, service delivery model development, and technology implementations.Experience with using exponential technologies such as process automation through robotics, AI, , predictive analytics, visualization etc in the transformation of finance function.Strong written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills, ability work with clients.
