We are looking for a mechanic to help maintain our fleet of E-Scooters in Townsville!
Responsibilities
Support the Warehouse Operations:
Manage battery charging by balancing stock with demand
Establish a smooth inflow/outflow process of vehicles from the workshop to deployments
Maintain and repair our fleet of E-scooters
Perform small repairs as needed to make sure we keep a healthy fleet on the streets.
Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform duties and make sure Beam riders are on the safest vehicles
Perform multiple repairs from a pumping a tyre to replacing electronic parts
Report all repairs using our industry-leading ops app
Be a team player helping other mechanics to succeed

Problem solve. Will need to spot issues and find creative ways to overcome obstacles that come your way
Requirements
Experience as a bike mechanic or technical expertise in mechanics
Trade Certification or Tertiary degree in a Mechanical, Electrical or IT field (bonus)
Good communicator capable of motivating a team and communicate issues clearly
Motivated, energetic individual who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves
Willing and able to learn and adapt to new concepts
Ability to use a wide variety of tools
