Job Description : TPF Recruitment is supporting a market leading accountancy practice based in Uckfield who are seeking a commercially aware Outsourcing Manager/ Management Accountant to join their team. The role offers the chance to add real value to the clients and use the real time information you create to advise your clients on business strategy and direction. You will work amongst an experienced and growing team, and be part of one of the biggest and best accounting practices in the South-East. Our client offers a very relaxed working environment, and the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities:

Lead a team

Train and support both team members and clients

Work alongside the Director, looking at new technologies and systems to enhance efficiencies

Liaise with senior personnel across the group

Review bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT returns

Review year end packs to be passed to accounts and audit team

Assist with ensuring that deadlines and time budgets are met

Complete and review VAT compliance including registration, de-registration, option to tax, VAT enquiries and investigation (In your role you will also work with the group VAT specialist who will be able to advise and direct on more complex areas of VAT)

Develop and maintain good client relations

Assist and advise clients with their accounting systems, which can include designing accounting processes and internal controls

Ensure a high level of service to meet clients’ expectations
Requirements
Positive, dynamic team leader with supervisory experience

ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE

Previous proven book-keeping and management accountancy experience

Extensive VAT knowledge

Numerate and analytical with excellent written and verbal communications skills

Intermediate/advanced Excel, Xero, Sage 50

Proven knowledge of working with and improving processes and systems
Benefits
£45,000 – £55,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.
