Job Description
Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
Integration of data storage solutions using MongoDB & MySQL
Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
Analyze requests for enhancements/changes and write amendment/program specifications
Understand the inter-dependencies of the services (application, system and database) and able to pinpoint problem areas accurately to improve overall efficiency
Experience: 1-2 Years
Must have skills: Javascript, Node.js, strong hands-on experience on Node.js, Express.js frameworks, MongoDB and MySQL
Strong proficiency with JavaScript.
In-depth knowledge of Node.js and Express.js frameworks
Strong hands-on experience on MongoDB & MYSQL
Understanding of relational databases
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Handlebars.js
Familiarity with Elasticsearch, ReactJS, Prisma is an advantage
Knowledge of micro-services & AWS Lambda functions
Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
