Job Description : Overview:
We are looking for a DevOps engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience who is proficient with Azure DevOps
Primary focus will be creating and maintaining Docker, Containers and Kubernetes on Azure DevOps
Should create and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Should handle the releases in DevOps perspective
Should create scripts to automate the tasks wherever required with PowerShell/any scripting
Should coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure
Should enhance the DevOps infrastructure continuously to adopt the new features and technologies
Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important
Responsibilities:
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
Create Docker and containers through the CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
Implement and Manage an auto-scaling system with Kubernetes
Collaborate with developers to bring new features and services into production
Create Azure extensions using PowerShell scripting and REST API
Automate the tasks with PowerShell scripting wherever needed.
Well versed with coding best practices and follow them
Adhere to Agile Scrum methodology
Educational Qualifications:
B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent
Skills Required:
Experience with Azure DevOps
Experience with Dockers, Containers and Kubernetes is a must
Experience with CI/CD and Release management
Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting
Demonstrable expertise in Microsoft .NET, C#
Familiarity with REST APIs
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Familiarity with code versioning tools (TFVC and Azure GIT)
Good logical and analytical skills
Good reasoning skills
Ability to understand the problem and come up with one or more solutions
Never-say-die approach to problem solving
Ability to express viewpoints or code/design artifacts well
Ability to document the design or explain status information etc., in emails well
Ability to work well in team environment
Interacting with Customer/ End users during all phases of Software Development and Release
Have good decision making ability regarding technical decisions
