You will join Intel NPG Software development and as a member of this talented team, you will be involved in developing security cryptographic and compression acceleration software solutions for Intel QuickAssist technology products. This role’s primary location is Bangalore, India. As part of the software validation team, you will have the following responsibilities: Develop test application software to a high standard to mimic Intel customer use-cases Develop strategies for test code maintenance to maximize re-use and minimize ongoing maintenance effort Participate in and drive peer reviews of validation design and related code reviews. Work closely with Intel silicon and platform design / validation teams as the software validation subject matter expert, providing technical and architectural input into project planning and execution. Responsible for validation of pre-silicon development milestones through to final delivery of the full software and hardware solution to the customer for the next generation of leading-edge processors and chipsets. Play a key role in developing validation strategies that ensure the efficient operation of the validation team whilst delivering a quality product to the end customer Implement and execute security validation tests on the product in accordance with Intel’s security development Lifecycle Play a key role in providing realistic estimates of validation effort to assist in team planning and program execution. Co-ordinate/lead other validation team members to ensure a consistent and re-usable test application across Intel QuickAssist hardware revisions. Provide support analyzing, prioritise and resolving technical engineering issues as required
Qualifications

Honors degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Computer Science. Track record of leading software validation teams Minimum of 2 years’ experience software development and/or software validation Strong communication skills, ability to openly communicate directly to individuals or groups at all levels. Proactive, outcome focused; demonstrates accountability, ownership and prioritizes own workload Self-motivated, enthusiastic with a desire to continuously learn and develop Strong Experience with test automation and scripting in python. Excellent knowledge of C programming. Good understanding of Intel Architecture/x86 or other multi-core processor. Sound knowledge of Linux OS Excellent system-level debugging skills. An ability to review product requirements and ensure those requirements can be validated Ability to analyze and optimize performance of software and hardware Track record of innovation and continuous improvement The following skills would be an advantage Knowledge of software tools such as Git, Github, Gitlab, Jira and Jenkins would be an advantage Linux development/validation experience e.g. Device Drivers, Kernel, and Application development Python, shell scripting Experience with performance benchmarking and application optimization Knowledge of security validation and fuzzing techniques
