About the role – you will:Be responsible for setup, configuration and running of various Applications in Application LabWork with Product, architecture to identify new applications to be added to application lab setupPlan and implement different application workloads against Lyve Cloud. Work closely with Product, Customer Success, Professional Services, R&D and participate in design review and discussions, report and track product issues and validate fixesBe part of the Application Lab, where our cloud product is being tested using real life applications running real life workloads in a production-like environmentCollaborate with R&D, QA and Product groupHandle the configuration and deployment of applications over our cloud platform
About you:Data oriented, eager to learn, grow and work with different technologiesTake initiative and be self-driven. Not waiting to be told what to doGreat communicator and have excellent prioritization skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment and have sharp for details
Your experience includes:QA experienceExperience with Rubric, Actifio and other backup solutionsExperience with SymantecExperience with Media Streaming applications and workflowsExperience with programming / scripting languages including, but not limited to: Bash, PythonExperience working with Storage (preferably object storage)Good Experience with tools and technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, EMR, Kafka, K8S etc.– big advantageExpert in Linux, OS config, debugging and profiling toolsExperience with virtualization/container related technologies (Xen, VMware vSphere / ESXi, Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with utilizing monitoring tools like: New Relic, Appdynamics, Dynatrace, BSM, Wavefront or similarExperience with time series tools (e.g. Prometheus, InfluxBD, Graphite)Experience CI / CD tools – Jenkins
