Our User Dashboard team is seeking web application software engineers with 0 to 3 years
web application and interface development experience to build a new Visibility Tool for
business automation systems command, control, and presentation. Some experience with the
Node.js, Javascript, JSON, React, PostgreSQL Development Stack is required. You will be
building and using RESTful APIs to build user dashboards, web pages, and web applications
that interface and automate CDK applications and products. CDK is modernizing and
automating a wide range of business applications, processes, and customer facing products
requiring multiple Visibility dashboards and interfaces for all levels of stakeholders –
from executives and management, to sales and marketing, contracts and financial accounting,
and most importantly, to CDK customers. You will work with, integrate, and develop
Blueprint scripts using CDK’s Proton-Blueprint automation system as these new Visibility
dashboards will drive the command, control, presentation, and notification of automated
business processes, customer-facing product installation, and provisioning tools. Our
automation platform, Proton, is built in Python and implements BluePrints – a powerful
automation scripting platform. Our development environment is agile scrum with 2-week
sprints, which means that we conduct short, focused iterations to quickly respond to
customer technology needs. We are seeking motivated self-starters who can handle multiple
tasks simultaneously and likes working in a fast-paced development environment. We are
looking for fast-learners who can work well in energetic, collaborative teams.
Job Responsibilities:
o Developing Visibility dashboards, web pages, and web applications to support presentation,
command, and control of automated business and provisioning processes.
o Write Proton-Blueprint scripts for workflow, process, installation, and provisioning
automation for CDK delivered networking and business applications as they apply
to Visibility Tool development
o Quickly learn the Proton-Blueprint scripting platform, learn how to apply Proton plugins
in Blueprint scripts.
o Support teams to analyze, understand, document, and automate diverse, existing
people-driven application installation processes – then build matching Visibility
Tool dashboards.
Ideal Candidate has the following technical skills:
o 0 to 3 years’ experience developing web pages and applications using Node.js, Javascript,
NPM libraries, Web-Dev Tools, JSON, React, PostgreSQL.
o 0 to 3 years Python software development experience.
o 0 to 3 years relational database experience, knowledge of SQL.
o Able to work with various APIs, familiar with RESTful APIs.
o 0 to 3 years’ experience with Linux, Linux shell, and software development.
o 0 to 3 years’ experience with software development, debug, test, and documenting
on Linux platforms.
o 0 to 3 years’ experience with Agile-Scrum software development process.

APIs.
o Senior experience with Linux, Linux shell, and software development.
o Senior experience with software development, debug, test, and documenting
on Linux platforms.
o Senior experience with Agile-Scrum software development process, writing stories
and epics; scrum master experience desired.
