4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Job summary
OpsTech IT’s Global Communications Team is looking for a talented and creative executive communications expert to raise the bar for our leadership team, departments, customers, and partners. In this role you will develop communications and messaging assets for our leadership and internal teams to inform and promote OpsTech IT’s vision and mission.

Key job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Create and deliver engaging and effective communications for multiple channels including website, email, video, graphics, in person meetings, and events.
2. Develop metrics and track delivery against project objectives including user data, surveys, and focus groups.
3. Contribute to the internal communications strategy, organizational branding, and collaborate with Global Communications team members to develop and implement communications, tools and processes.
4. Continually explore ways to improve existing communication channels and processes to help the Global Communications team better reach and engage employees.
5. Work independently on a small team within a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.
6. Meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, and maintain a strong attention to detail to meet organizational objectives and quality measures, with the willingness to pivot as necessary and roll up one’s sleeves to get the work done.
7. Contribute to the development of partnerships with leadership and teams within our organization, across Amazon, and with vendors.
8. Provide project management, design and visual aid support to All Hands, leadership, and org-wide communications.
9. Assists in writing and copy-editing team communications, executive briefs, policy documents, and other materials for internal and external audiences.

1. Experience working within a high-growth, technology company would be highly beneficial.
2. Experience in an executive communications role is highly regarded. Experience developing creative, effective approaches to difficult communications challenges.
3. Exhibits sound business judgment, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, and leading data-driven analysis.
4. Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization.
5. Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations.
6. Excellent writing skills with the ability to formulate a clear point of view on complicated issues, and the ability to create a concise and well-written narrative.
7. Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement processes, procedures and policies.
8. Strong analytical and communication skills and ability to make data-focused decisions. Ability to exercise high judgment, particularly in narrow time-frames.
9. Earns trust through performance and relationship building, is disciplined in operations execution, has creative ideas for employee engagement, and has an extreme level of attention to detail.
10. The successful candidate should be passionate about writing and connecting with an audience through a written medium.
11. The ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across other geographies.
