Objectives of this Role
Apty is strategically expanding our Marketing Department by hiring a Content Strategist to design, execute and manage Apty’s overall content requirements. You will be responsible for developing and executing the content calendar, reviewing all pieces of content churned out by the prolific team of writers as well as track and improve content performance across channels. You will play an instrumental role in scaling Apty’s content marketing efforts and will contribute in building the thought leadership function in Apty. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities :
Build content (thought leadership articles, blog posts, white papers, mailers, eBooks, etc.) targeted at Apty personas to optimize the customer journey and deliver the right message at the right time.
Strategize and define the content calendar on a quarterly & monthly basis
Help develop content beyond text-based stories —including infographics, videos, social media campaigns, etc
Oversee and review all content produced including blog posts, white papers, e-books, ad copies, website content, thought leadership pieces.
Translate DAP industry concepts into detailed and thought-provoking pieces that can be shared through all marketing channels
Will act as the primary and “lead” person for this function and must, therefore, have the maturity, experience, and organizational project management skills to act independently and effectively
Skills Required :
Excellent editing, writing and content skills with portfolio of B2B writing to show
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4+ years of experience in technical writing, content marketing, journalism, or professional writing/editing
Experience writing whitepapers, thought leadership, blogs for a B2B SaaS vendor or tech industry publications
Obsessive organizational skills. Close attention to detail and quality
Comfortable working with multiple, cross-cultural, cross-functional teams, in-house and remote
Thrives under pressure and is an absolute team-player who isn’t afraid to partake in a war of wits – non-negotiable!
