Job Description : The DevOps Platform Automation and Adoption Lead is an intermediate level role responsible for driving to enable and increase adoption of Self-service CICD and DevOps Practices, support, monitor and Enhance the current CICD pipeline operations and implementations by working with CTI and global Engineering teams. The overall objective is to coordinate, manage and advise a team of professionals on technical and strategic concepts and activities.

Responsibilities:
Lead, evaluate, provide resources and drive a team towards realistic goals
Apply technical expertise to strategize for current/future technological developments and serve as point of contact for technical questions
Apply knowledge of concepts and procedures to resolve issues
Responsible for delivery of end results and resource planning; shares responsibility for budget management which directly impacts the Technology Infrastructure area
Contribute to formulation of strategies for infrastructure technologies functional areas across
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of how Technology Infrastructure integrates within the overall technology function to achieve business goals
Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information; resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents.
Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements, evaluate controls to help mitigate negative outcomes through prevention, detection and correction
Persuades and influences others through communication skills; may negotiate with external parties
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Ability to manage teams.
Implement and support DevOps, CI/CD process, Openshift container platform across the GCT APAC & EMEA teams.
Fine tune and automate the existing manual steps and processes
Design, implement and support the necessary solution as needed by development teams.
Lead the team of offshore staff and provide technical guidance to the team
Work as point of contact and Lead for India team within the DevOps CICD team.
work with different stakeholders such as development teams, infrastructure, project management, Testing to come up with implementation and track it to closure.
Partner with CTI (infra) and Engineering teams to address the gaps by designing the new solutions and implementing them.
guide & mentor offshore team consisting of vendor staff on day-to-day tasks
Generate reports & metrics on adoption, pending issues etc.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
5.7 years of experience in a Technology Infrastructure role with people management experience
Project management experience
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
Ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking and best practices
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
Ability to partner with virtual and in-person teams, define goals to a team, and work under pressure or to a deadline
Years of relevant experience in an Development, DevOps, CICD , tools, Agile, SDLC Process
Must have implemented or supported for at-least 5 years of support different platforms like Java, .NET, Tibco, springboot, iOS & Android
Must have knowledge of Cloud technologies
Experience of implementing and supporting source code management and CICD pipeline
Minimum 5 yrs hands on experience of tools such as IBM RTC, Git, Jenkins, sonarqube, JIRA etc.
Must have scripting knowledge and experience of Perl, Shell, VB.net, Java/J2EE, springboot, oracle
Must have knowledge of docker, Kubernetes, Openshift platforms.
Must be able to create reports, metrics
Should be able to interact and communicate with stakeholders different countries within APAC & EMEA region
Must have led the team of at-least 3-5 resources
Good communication skills
Ability to plan and organize workload
Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Mentor and train other engineers throughout the Organization and seek to continually improve processes companywide.
5+ years of relevant experience in an Development, DevOps, CICD , tools, Agile, SDLC Process
Implement and support DevOps, CI/CD process, Open shift container platform and must have knowledge of Cloud technologies
Required good knowledge and understanding in Splunk, AppDynamics, JIRA, Ansible tools and Experience on JPBPM, NodeJS, Gemfire, NGINIX, Tomcat, APACHE and IHS webservers
Through these efforts, develop cohesive interpersonal working relationships with the peers and teams members.
