About the role
In the role of Engineer you will support the systems and processes required for the customs clearance operations in AU. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to modify and enhance the import and export system and process to produce value to our customers
Manpower and capacity planning
Operational process flow/flow charts development
Requirement gathering and documentation of IT system development project
Take lead to drive IT developers and users for IT system development, UAT, MTP
Perform Financial cost benefit analysis of IT projects
Create PowerPoint and deliver presentation of business plans and deliverables to top leadership
Package Sorting Warehouse design, implementation and continuous improvement
Package handling best practice implementation
Air import export customs clearance process planning
Experience Required
Engineering Degree (Industrial, mechanical, etc)
Minimum two (2) years engineering experience within Express Freight and logistics
Strong communication skills
Strong Project management skills
Ability to manage a team, contractors
IT project management, systems integration between various IT systems
Experience with AU Customs ICS system
Safe Agile practitioner (preferable)
MS Excel VBA/Macro, Assess DB set up, SQL
MS Power Automate/Power App development experience
Understanding of EDI establishment between IT systems
Hands on approach in warehouse sortation system and handling
