Job Description
You will be part of Hardware Related Software (HSW) team. This team will support identified Automotive OEM in German/North America/French/Indian for developing their active safety devices like ABS/ESP and other leading products.
HSW Team will be responsible for develop/integrate/test & release (deliver) of software part related to Hardware like micro controller based boards. This team support the customer realize the application in vehicle from Start of Development (SoD) to End of Verification (EoV)
Responsibilities:
Derive Test cases based on software design / requirements and Automation, execution of tests
Understanding and development of SW code for HW model based on specification
Support in defining overall Test strategy for compliance with automotive standards such as ASPICE, ISO26262 etc.
Handling of queries for failing tests from various customer projects and debugging of failing test cases.
Work experience:
2-6 Years’ Experience in Embedded Software Testing and Automation
Skills Required:
Good knowledge on Testing concepts & Strategy, test case design and V&V models.
Experience on model based development & testing processes using Matlab, Simulink
Programming skills: strong Embedded C programming, RTOS concepts
Additional: PERL or Python, excel VBA
Good hardware knowledge (ASICs, uCs, communication protocols)
Experience in test bench setup for ECUs – Component testing, Integration Testing
The ability to debug faulty conditions in the software
Good Coordination skills (Prioritization, Communication & Interpersonal skills)
Additional Skills
ISTQB certifications Basic/advanced
Overview on ISO26262/ASPICE standards
Experience on tools like DOORS, ALM/SVN is a plus
Qualifications
B.E/B.Tech, M.E/ M.Tech in computer science, Electronics and Communication, Instrumental Engineering
