What will your job look like?
You will design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.You will follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology and release processes, to ensure code is maintainable, scalable, and supportable, and demo the software products to stakeholders.You will investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provide fixes and workarounds, and review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.You will work within a team, collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, and work with cross functional teams to achieve goals.You will assume technical accountability for your specific work products within an application and provide technical support during solution design for new requirements.You will be encouraged to actively look for innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiency in all assigned tasks.

All you need is…
Experience 2 to 6 years
Strong knowledge and working experience on K2View ETL tool
The ideal candidate is a hands-on K2View ETL tool with experience in developing ETL scripts and Data Warehousing for real world use cases. They must be at ease working with on-prem Big Data ecosystem in an agile environment with little supervision. The person should be a self-motivated person with a passion for problem solving and continuous learning.
The candidate is responsible for the design, development, implementation, management and support of mission- critical enterprise BI reporting and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and environments
Developing architectural solutions utilizing K2View ETL tool
Deep knowledge of implementing K2View ETL tool Mappings based on the requirement by writing functions, translations using SQL/BTEQ scripts.
Contribute the development of ETL scripts using K2View ETL tool
Knowledge of Java and PHP is required to develop solutions for the K2View ETL in use
Interacting directly with Product support team of K2View to fix any Admin bugs by raising case with them
Work with project management to provide effort estimates and timelines.
Interact with Business and IT team members to move the project forward in every Sprint.
Work with Internal stakeholder and development teams during project lifecycle
Analyzing Business requirements and Preparing functional documents and detail design documents
Creating Corresponding Maps and Flows for that translation to run and check for any error and load the data into Staging
Debug the issues related to Process, Daily Runs and weekly Migration & Data
Ability to interact with all levels of management
Knowledge of Unix and shell scripting skills are a plus
