Job Description : Advanced Analytics Manager
Dynata is seeking a Manager to join our Advanced Methods team. As part of the team, you will be responsible for supporting Dynata’s Corporate, Consultant and Investment Portfolio providing market research advanced techniques (including by not limited to various conjoint methodologies, segmentations, driver analysis, etc.) across consumer and business populations for some of the top companies across a variety of industry sectors such as consumer product good, media, technology, retail, finance, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create/fit predictive models to datasets to derive insights for researchers
Generate and maintain code, syntax, and scripts
Help to develop new products and implement enhancements to existing deliverables
Work closely with research and sales team to scope and design analytical approaches that will transform complex business objectives into meaningful research insights.
Assist internal teams and external clients in the interpretation of analysis outputs
Provide support to leadership and conduct special projects as required
Handle other job duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
A minimum of 5-7 years working in some form of analyst capacity
Expert-level knowledge of VBA within MS Excel
Advanced knowledge and applied usage of R required
Ability to complete SPSS analyses (e.g., frequencies, correlation, regression, etc.)
Experience working with large, complex data sets and applying statistical models
Ability to derive insights or innovative ideas from data
Grasp on most market research statistical techniques (including by not limited to various conjoint methodologies, segmentations, driver analysis, etc.)
Preferred if you had the following Experience/Qualifications (But not Required):
Direct experience with survey programming, data processing, or data tabulation.
Additional knowledge/experience working with Python, SAS, or SQL
