Get to know our Team:
The Communications Team is responsible for telling the Grab story around the world. Whether it’s speaking to media and online influencers, policymakers, industry commentators, or the wider community, the Communications team is the voice of Grab. The Communications Team is a strategic partner and solution provider to various business functions in Grab. We help to drive their business objectives by ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders understand and support Grab’s vision and business strategy, including but not limited to corporate partnerships, new products, partner programmes, marketing campaigns, and internal programmes.

Get to know the Role:
Strategize, coordinate and execute public relations campaigns that are aligned with company-wide objectives, as well as budget management and target tracking. To succeed in this role, you need to be an agile, self-motivated individual who can perform in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The day-to-day activities:
Devise, implement and manage public relations programmes that are in line with company’s vision and business objectives.
Serve as an effective filter for the various business units in helping to determine the credibility, defensibility and news value of Grab message.
Manage the PR agency according to budget and business requirements Proactively promote stories and other publicity opportunities that are advantageous to Grab.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with the most influential media in Indonesia.
Create content such as press releases, thought leadership articles, messaging, executive media briefings and speeches for executives.
Develop and implement digital PR strategies
Field and prioritise requests and media engagements
Lead and oversee media events
Effectively manage the response to incidents, issues or crisis situations, and manage programmes to mitigate negative impacts of incidents affecting Grab
Analyse metrics to determine the output and value of PR results and use the data as a critical planning tool
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Grab business stakeholders and management
Drive regular planning and reporting meetings with key stakeholders
Provide communications counsel and media training to relevant spokespeople
Manage speaking opportunities for executives
Develop network of third-party advocates and drive a sustained programme to leverage third-party credibility for communications strategy
The must haves:
Min 8-9 years experiences in the field Required: Corporate reputation management, consumer and digital PR, media relations, issues and crisis management, event mangement, business and lifestyle writing.
Good-to-have:
Social media and digital PR Excellent command of Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken)
Experience in public relations; in an agency preferred Technology sector experience preferred
Experience working in a regional or global team Experience working in a fast-growth company
