Where You Fit In
Customer Operations (CO) in Shell is a 2000+ strong organization with a global footprint, with a vision to provide market-leading customer experience at an affordable cost. CO’s Customer Success teams support B2B and B2C customers along their journey with Shell –onboarding them for the first time, processing their orders, tracking their shipments, sending them invoices, answering their queries about loyalty programs, helping them exercise their privacy rights and so on. This role helps bring the best out of CO by measuring what matters most to our customers’ success and to our bottom line.

What is the Role?
You will take data in its rawest form and turn it into meaningful insights for your frontline colleagues in Customer Operations, as well as Sales and Marketing. Specifically, your role involves the following:
Build intuitive, user-friendly, auto-refreshing dashboards to track operational performance.Work with delivery teams in FO and IT to convert one-off analyses into automated reports and dashboards. Act as SME and provide advice to users on CO’s dashboards, reports and data layer. Staff the Performance Diagnostics Helpdesk, respond to user queries and trouble-shoot issues.
What We Need from You?
Your ability to rapidly develop visually compelling dashboards based on reliable data makes all the difference. You can quickly spot errors, and know how to fix them. You will bring:
Analytical Capability – ability to conceptually blend complex data from multiple sources. Key requirement is to know what information decision makers need to deliver market-leading CX. Articulating Insights – ability to translate movements in KPIs into actionable insights for the frontline teams and present it in the form of effective dashboards and slide packs. Stakeholder Management – ability to work effectively across geographies and organizational boundaries with senior leaders (VP/GM/GM-1). Tooling Proficiency – knowledge of PowerBI/ Spotfire/ Tableau/ Shiny/ Dash for visualization, and Alteryx/ R/ Python for data manipulation and analysis, alongside Power Apps suite Deep Data Expertise – deep knowledge of Shell’s data landscape, including GSAP and Salesforce, and underlying data structures and flows.
Agile Delivery – experience working on agile mode to deliver reporting and analytics solutions, product ownership experience particularly useful
