Job Description : Position Overview
As a Quality Assurance Engineer (manual testing), you will have solid experience in testing web based multi device / multi browser interfaces. In this critical role, you will be responsible for executing the quality assurance testing of new and customized features as well as general site releases, through a variety of web browsers in a multi-tenant environment.
Being able to create and understand all relevant use cases to test against is critical for this role. So being able to define the process in which an efficient QA cycle will function is paramount.
Key Responsibility:
Ability to detect functional deviations and regression defects against production environment
Ability to isolate issues in the defects and provide root cause analysis
Outstanding knowledge of browsers and practical experience working with IE and Firefox.
Strong cross-browser and responsive design test skills
Hands –on experience with browsers’ built-in debugging tools:
Internet Explorer’s F12 Developer Tools
Firefox’s Web Developer Tools and the Firebug add-on
Chrome’s Developer Tools
Safari’s Web Inspector
Ability to recognize hidden errors, performance bottlenecks and web layout issues
Experience interacting with page resources such CSS, web database, application cache, cookies
Experience:
Overall 3-5 years in Web development / Web site testing domain
Graduate in any medium
Strong knowledge of HTML 5 and CSS3
Exposure to jQuery, Java Script, PHP and WordPress is a big plus,
At least 2 plus years of previous experience working as a manual or automation tester or as a web developer, support, customization, or integration engineer.
University degree/diploma, preference for Business, Software Engineering, Computer Science
ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst Certification is a plus.

Open to work in PST Time – 9.30PM to 6.30AM IST
