Salesforce Industries is looking to expand our Customer Success team by hiring
talented and enthusiastic Industry Solution Architects across Telecom/Media & Entertainment industries. Salesforce Industries’ goal is to deliver rapid, value driven customer solutions for complex business problems. Our Industry Solution Architects play a key role in determining the optimal use of the Vlocity product in the customer environment. We are looking for industry experts who are passionate about the digital transformation of Telecom and customer experience.
Your responsibility is to understand the customer’s business requirements, design, and configure the desired solution. This is a focused team of industry e perts whose mission is to work with our largest and most important customers and implementation partners to deliver solutions that delight the customers.
Responsibilities
Effective in working with customers, including business executives, business analysts, and IT development staff
Effective in understanding business needs and distilling the information into business and technical requirements
Comfortable working with complex business requirements and translating into the design of solutions, including insurance product configuration, rate models, user stories, business rules, etc.
Speed is paramount. This team is nimble and is the fulcrum to accelerate the delivery of the solution for customers.
A collaborative and empathetic relationship with the business stakeholders will be central to your role. Your commitment to their success should never be in doubt.
You’ll be a key channel back to the Salesforce Industries product management team as they look to drive innovation and improvements into future releases of Industry Cloud products.

This role will require travel to customer locations.
Industry Experience- Telecommunications
At least 10+ years of Telecom Industry Experience
Involved in the Implementation of OSS/ BSS (CRM, Billing, OM, Product Catalog) solutions at operators
Involved in at least 2-3 E2E Digital Transformation programmes
Experience in Telecom OSS/BSS and EPC, CPQ, OM, and Billing
Industry Experience- Media & Entertainment
At least 7+ years of Media & Entertainment Industry Experience
Experience and in-depth understanding of Media ( Entertainment, Broadcasting, Publishing, Agencies) business model both B2B and B2C scenarios.
Experience and knowledge of television broadcast management systems, media supply chain systems
Experience and knowledge of media formats, video content solutions, linear, media product catalogs, and integrated solutions.
Experience and knowledge of Media segment positioning and solutioning of workflows from sub-sectors- Agencies & Advertising, Publishing, Sports & Entertainment, Broadcast & Film, New Media and business information .
Experience of Media AdSales Management, Growing Subscriber Relationship preferred
Engage business users to understand requirements and create solution designs for various B2B and B2C scenarios
Experience
Engage business users to understand requirements and create solution designs
Help in mapping business requirements to Salesforce Industry(SFI) Vlocity
product functionality
Identifies ‘What to implement’ in Vlocity CRM and ‘Solution’ level designs
Able to evaluate the long-term impact of implementing a capability – Any conflict
or limitations, impact on operations, roadmaps, or upgrades
Knowledge of modules (EPC, CPQ, OM, and Digital Commerce)
Knowledge of Salesforce Platform
You will have a proven track record of successful delivery of customer projects,
preferably enterprise CRM implementations for Telecom clients
You will have direct experience in working with Salesforce (at an Admin level,
minimum)
You’ll be a self-starter, adept at picking up new skills and technologies, and eager
to break new ground
You’ll have excellent communication skills to communicate with customers,
partners, and internal team members
You’ll have the vision to help us take our company to the next level
Technical Skills
Ability to technically lead complex projects throughout the complete IT lifecycle
(Analysis, Architecture, Design, Build, Test & Production)
Hands-On experience of CPQ, EPC configuration
Process modeling tools and best practices
Project management tools and best practices
Data modeling
Systems analysis and design
DESIRED CERTIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATION
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,
Business or a related field
Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud Consultant
Salesforce Administrator
Salesforce Developer
Certified Scrum Master / Certified Product Owner
