The Job
You will be part of our Analytics data engineering team where you will be partnering with product in analysis and design of analytics projects/requirements
Organize and transform the data in a meaningful way
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
Aid in the development and design of analytics projects as necessary.
Create integrated views of data collected from multiple sources.
Develop and use tools, algorithms, and processes for data mining and data visualization to generate reports to be used in decision making.
Responsible for exploratory research & analysis on data sets to build an understanding of the underlying data to be able to answer business questions.
Train other members of the organization (business analysts, key stakeholders) as necessary so that they can use various data tools and communicate with other members of the data team.
Build & support data ingestion and processing pipelines.
This will extract, load, and transform ‘big data’ from a wide variety of sources, batch & streaming, latest data frameworks and technologies.
Coach and mentor other team members
Your Profile
Mandate skill set experience:
7+ years of experience in Big Data Analytics and Data Engineering.
Strong knowledge of advanced SQL, data warehousing concepts, DataMart designing.
Mandate Experience in the skill set as follows:
Modern data platform components such as Spark, Python.
Relational databases like SQL, Postgres, NOSQL and Cassandra / MongoDB.
Data pipeline/ETL and workflow management concepts.
Distributed Versioning Control environments such as GIT, Azure DevOps
Preferred skill set experience:
Exposure in the skills such as
Cloud providers – GCP, Azure, AWS.
Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Tableau, Dundas, Power BI etc.
Agile software development methodologies.
