Background of the team:
The DevOps Tools and Application team is at the cutting edge of DevOps and cloud operations. Our mission is to systematize and provide best in class tools and applications for DevOps. Genesys Multicloud is in hypergrowth; Tools and Applications Team is a handful of engineers inventing the tools, automation and applications to accelerate Genesys Engineering teams to keep up with the demands of our platform.

We are an extremely knowledgeable and friendly international team. We are always helping our fellow team members with challenges and helping with solutions. We are very collaborative and support each other in many aspects throughout the development process.
Responsibilities:
Management and research of Genesys Software Delivery Automation and tools required for Genesys R&D community
Design and development of automation and tools
Configuration management of build environment, build and release systems and tools

Requirements:
B.E/B.Tech in. Computer Engineering or comparable field and/or equivalent work experience
5+ years Configuration Management; Administration of CI environments, JIRA, Linux and Windows operational systems
Experience in design, development, testing and integration of complex software solutions Experience in developing REST APIs
Experience in containerization using Docker and container orchestration using K8s
Very good knowledge of applications development environments, databases, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment
Proven experience in DevOps and building software delivery automation using GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.
Experience with software security practices.

A strong candidate will also have:
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
Practical knowledge of general product lifecycle methodology. Experience with some Bug Tracking Systems and Release Management Tracking Systems
Good knowledge of and experience with Git, GitHub Actions
Knowledge of Python or Perl
High degree of initiative, ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
