Department Overview

Enterprise Functional Technology (EFT) aimed at providing common, consistent, and foundational software services and solutions to be used across technology at Wells Fargo. The group includes the strategic development and support of core information management services including data technology blue print, common data services, customer relationship management services and customer due diligence services to be leveraged across all technology teams in Wells Fargo. Additionally their Cloud enablement services is another strategic priority to re-engineer of a significant portion of Wells Fargo’s large and complex application portfolio .

About the Role
You will work as part as part of Wells Fargo Technology team, this is an Engineering manager position responsible for leading a team of highly skilled engineers in the Cloud Strategy and API integration group. You will interact closely with the India delivering team and multiples partners including US delivering team.

Responsibilities
The incumbent of this position is responsible for leading a cross-functional team through the complete software development lifecycle, developing in a fast-paced environment.Drives complex programming activities with an agile mindset using the latest technologies to build products that are scalable, durable, and secure.Manage the team from the day to day activities.Hire, build and Develop high performing team and manage the attrition
Essential Qualifications•Demonstrated success in creating and driving effective technology teams in global business environments.
Delivers high-quality, scalable and cost-effective technology solutions that meet business requirements and conform to architectural designs and technologyMinimum of 14+ years of experience, of which at least 4 years in technology leadership roles.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Microsoft technologies , .net core framework, UI technolgoies such as React JS, Node JS, Angular.Experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud is a must.experience in leading teams with multiple technologiesexperience in leading teams with atleast one cloud platformInformation technology systems design and planning experience; in systems, applications, or architectureExperience with CI/CD tools like Github, TFS, JenkinsAct as a technical and change advocate – promoting use of technology and assessing landscape for continuous improvementTake ownership of delivery and manage multi-release projects in AGILEManages and mentors team of direct reports by providing career path conversations and guidance, and helping them achieve their goals through effective development and training plansAbility to effectively communicate with and manage project stakeholders across multiple levels.Ability to establish executive level relationships across the various business and technology organizations.Ability to make difficult decisions balancing business requirements, project timelines / budgets, and product and technology roadmaps and architectural designs.Embraces innovation by constantly seeking new or contrary ideas and approaches to what has been done in the past. Thinks big and broad, without being constrained by existing norms or business models
Desired Qualifications: • Experience of working across one or more geographic territories or regions
Experience working with Cloud technologies other than Microsoft Azure Cloud such as Google Cloud Platform, PCF is a added valueKnowledge of NoSQL databases, such as ElasticSearch and Redis.
