Opportunity
We are looking for a content marketing manager to own the content marketing initiatives for Hiver. You will be in charge of marketing content across all channels (from the website, social media, blog posts, press releases, to short and long-form thought leadership pieces), with the end goal of crafting and running a content strategy.
You will need to write, refine and advance our editorial and content marketing priorities, help plan, produce and analyze the written content. You will also develop, write and produce stories, infographics, marketing materials, and other content that tell the corporate story in a compelling and shareable way. This role requires a savvy wordsmith with an eye for detail and the ability to work on multiple projects within deadlines.
Responsibilities
Own the Hiver blog, including developing and maintaining an editorial calendar and writing, editing, and publishing blog posts
Conduct research and develop ideal customer profiles based on Hiver’s audiences and competitors
Review and optimize existing content library to ensure Hiver stays fresh & relevant and is continuing to improve performance
Create high-authority, well-researched content that will be used as a channel to engage senior leaders in the ‘Customer Support’ space – leading to improvement in inbound lead generation
Brainstorm and develop digestible, snackable content assets from larger marketing pieces (e.g., infographics, guides, branded customer stories, videos)
Track content performance (e.g., leads generated or SERP rankings) with tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs
Requirements
BA in marketing, communications, or journalism preferred
2 to 4 years of experience in content marketing with at least one year in B2B SaaS organizations
Have extensive knowledge of SEO, content flywheel, and lead generation through content marketing
Passion for writing and solid editorial instincts and distinct perspective on what qualifies as “good content.”
Experience designing content campaigns (strategy, measurement, content calendar, etc.)
Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders and distill complex, highly technical concepts into digestible content
Experience in WordPress is a plus!
Preferred qualifications:
Prior experience of B2B SaaS is an advantage
