Position :

Job Description : Understand the business problem, industry context and able to translate data and technical concepts into requirement documents and user stores for data engineering
Actively mentor and coach the team to realize the best solution to a problem
Facilitating and influencing the stakeholders and teams towards the right architecture and become an interface between Leadership and delivery team
Architect standard-to-advanced solutions using modern technologies and platform providing best practices.
Works with team members on requirements and reviewing the quality of work prior providing necessary feedback on day-today basis fostering innovation
Get stakeholder feedback aligning on technical approach, deliverables, and roadmap
Create and maintain efficient data pipelines, integrating wide variety of sources, internal and external and transform using SQL, Spark, and other AWS Big Data technologies like Glue etc.
Create estimates for technical deliverables and cloud infrastructure for budgetary approvals.

Qualifications:

12-15 years of hands-on experience in building large scale data platform, 3+ years of experience in instrumenting data pipelines in distributes environment with technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive etc
Deep understanding of Lambda, kappa architech, ture, Data mesh and ability to evaluate the pros and cons of each
Experience with NOSQL datastores like Cassandra, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB etc
Experience in building streaming pipelines using Kafka and/or Spark
Proven skills in designing, tuning, and optimizing scalable, highly available distributed systems
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and fundamentals including data structure
Experience of working with API’s and integrating multiple applications together
Proficient and hands on Python and Scala/Java
Experience in modern engineering agile development practices and technologies including Devops concepts, CI/CD, cloud native development, Github and more
Data modelling experience to address scale and read/write performance
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with AWS cloud Architecture services including EC2, Data Lakes (S3), Data Warehouse serverless Computing (Lambda, Containers, Glue)
Experience with open-source orchestration tool like Apache Airflow
